Zulkifli Hasan Impressed By Governor Of East Java Khofifah's Performance: A Lot Of Progress Has Been Achieved In East Java, Including MSMEs And Agriculture
JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan was impressed by the performance of Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa in leading East Java, especially in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.
"We have come as a form of appreciation and provide full support. This cannot be separated from the leadership of Mrs. Governor Khofifah who we have seen has succeeded in overcoming the pandemic. Hopefully, the numbers will decrease," he said while holding a friendship at the Grahadi State Building in Surabaya, quoted from Antara, Sunday 12 December.
During the visit, the PAN chairman was accompanied by the secretary-general of PAN Eddy Suparno, as well as a number of artists who were also PAN politicians such as Desy Ratnasari, Pasha Ungu, Elly Sugigi, and other East Java PAN DPW administrators.
In addition to being impressed by Khofifah's handling of COVID-19, the former Indonesian Minister of Forestry also praised the East Java Provincial Government's success in raising and advancing MSMEs.
"A lot of progress has been achieved by East Java, including in terms of MSMEs and agriculture," he said.
Zulhas, as he is familiarly called, also salutes the social community in East Java which he considers to be very safe, harmonious, and friendly.
"East Java is the only province that can sit together between NU and Muhammadiyah regional administrators. This is also thanks to the leadership of Mrs. Khofifah," said the former chairman of the MPR RI.
The arrival of Zulhas is a series of inauguration activities with the DPW and DPD PAN throughout East Java which was held on Saturday afternoon in Surabaya.

Meanwhile, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa thanked the general chairman and PAN administrators for visiting Grahadi.
"This is an effort to build the widest possible communication. Activities like this are extraordinary, so we have to build communication," said the number one person in the East Java Provincial Government.
According to the former Minister of Social Affairs, communication by building partnerships is very necessary and requires an atmosphere that can understand each other's internal, regional and national dynamics.
"So, in my opinion, communication like this must be done and which strategic elements we must cooperate with to be able to build synergy together," said Khofifah.
