Jakpro: Jakarta International Stadium Is Treated With European Standard
JAKARTA - President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) or Jakpro Widi Amanasto said the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) lawn treatment uses European-standard Lighting Grass Growth technology.
According to Widi, the lamp technology with ultra violet (UV) light can help maintain lawns when the weather is uncertain, such as high-intensity rain, and when the field conditions are closed with minimal light for the grass.
"That treatment, there was Ultra Violet, it's all European standards. Moreover, our Stadium (JIS) is closed, so it's important for us to provide a tool called Ultra Violet. This is a technology that reaches its operation, we also have the technology," said Widi when met at the main JIS field, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, December 10.
The Lighting Grass Growth technology was first applied in Europe around 2003-2004. But JIS, which has stands or tall buildings, also uses the technology to maintain better quality hybrid lawn care.
In addition, according to Widi, maintenance using this technology can also save on lawn maintenance costs. However, he did not mention the nominal amount spent on JIS grass maintenance.
Meanwhile, JIS M Construction Manager Rizky Fauzi explained that the Lighting Grass Growth has wheels that can be used to comb all areas of the main field.
According to Rizky, the light rays have a function similar to light from the sun's heat when it illuminates the earth.
"So indeed the light is made in such a way to match the time of day," said Rizky.
Meanwhile, the JIS main field currently has two goal posts and a penalty box line and a kick-off is also available.

The President Director of Jakpro also checked all audio and lighting equipment at JIS with the target that it should be fully operational by December 11.
He also seemed to be testing the footing of the JIS hybrid grass to ensure the quality and contours are the same as those on the JIS training field, because they have the similarity of using a mixture of 95 percent natural grass, Zoysia matrella, and 5 percent synthetic grass.
"As of December 11, you must be ready for the match, that's the point," said Widi.
