Panic Caught Consuming Methamphetamine Then Throws Bong Away When Visited By Vaccination Officers, Man In Asahan North Sumatra Arrested

MEDAN - The man with the initials FIM in Asahan Regency, North Sumatra has to deal with the police. He was caught consuming crystal methamphetamine when he was approached by a door-to-door vaccination officer.

Based on the information obtained, the arrests began when the police, TNI (Army) and elements of the village and sub-district were conducting door-to-door vaccinations.

However, when officers came and knocked on a resident's house on FL Tobing Street, Lestari Village, East Kisaran District, suddenly the perpetrator ran to the back door carrying a bong. He intended to dispose of the methamphetamine.

Seeing this, Bhabinkamtibmas (Bhayangkara Community Security and Order Trustees), Babinsa (Village Advisory Officer), and the Head of Environment immediately chased the man. When he was arrested, the officers immediately ordered the perpetrator to retrieve the bong he had thrown away.

With the available evidence, the officers took the perpetrator to the Kisaran City Police for questioning.

Separately, Kisaran City Police Chief, Iptu Joy Ananda Purba said the perpetrators had been transferred to the Asahan Police Narcotics Unit.

"It has been delegated to the Drugs Unit", said Iptu Joy to VOI, Friday, December 10.

Kisaran City Police Chief, Asahan Police, Iptu Joy Ananda Putra Sianipar, said that during interrogation the suspect admitted that other evidence was still in the house.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Asahan Police, Ipda Charles Sianipar, said that currently the perpetrators were being processed.

"It is true what happened and is currently under investigation", said Ipda Charles.
