Bukaka, Aerobridge Producer Owned By Jusuf Kalla's Family Wins Callender Hamilton Bridge Replacement Contract Worth Rp2.19 Trillion
JAKARTA - The aerobridge manufacturer belonging to the Jusuf Kalla family, PT Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk (BUKK) through its subsidiary, PT Baja Titian Utama, has won a cooperation contract for the replacement and/or duplication of the Callender Hamilton bridge in Java.
President Director of Bukaka Teknik Utama, Irsal Kamarudin, said that PT Baja Titian Utama had signed a government cooperation agreement with business entities (KPBU) with the Indonesian Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing. The cooperation was signed on Monday, December 6, 2021, with an investment value of Rp2.19 trillion.
"This project is implemented at 37 bridge locations spread across the provinces of Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java. This agreement is a PPP agreement with a period of 12 years," said Irsal in information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website, as quoted Wednesday 8 December.
The details, consisting of 2 years of construction and 10 years of service. PT Baja Titian Utama will receive payment after the construction period is completed through a 10-year availability payment scheme with a payment value of Rp455.87 billion per year excluding VAT.

"The acquisition of the contract by PT Baja Titian Utama will have an impact in the form of potential additional income and profit for the company as a shareholder," said Irsal.
On the other hand, with this contract, the company will increase its experience in the field of bridge construction, especially in steel bridge projects.
For information, PT Baja Titian Utama is a controlled company whose shares are directly owned by 99 percent by Bukaka Teknik Utama.
