Unproven Report, Police Stop Case Of Alleged Abuse With Reported Ahok's Son

JAKARTA - The police have decided to stop the investigation into the alleged abuse case with reported Nicholas Sean Purnama or the son of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok. Because the allegations of abuse were not proven.

"Yes, we have held the title several times. It is not proven (alleged persecution)," said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Guruh Arif Darmawan when contacted, Saturday, December 4.

In addition, from some of the evidence and instructions that have been collected, no element of persecution was found. On this basis, the investigation process was terminated.

"We have seen and examined witnesses, checked CCTV of all kinds (but) there is no supporting evidence that leads to it (persecution)," said Guruh.

For information, Nicholas Sean Purnama was reported by celebrity Ayu Thalia for alleged abuse to the Penjaringan Police, North Jakarta.

However, Sean, who did not feel that he was doing the abuse, immediately reported back to the North Jakarta Police. Thus, in that report, Ayu Thalia was suspected of committing a criminal act of defamation.
