MUKOMUKO - Heavy rains that lashed Mukomuko Regency, Bengkulu on Tuesday night, November 30, helped extinguish peatland fires.
"We consider the extinguishing of the peatland that burned on Tuesday, November 30 almost complete, plus heavy rains that flushed this area on Tuesday, November 30 night", said Head of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Mukomuko Ramdani, in a statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 1st.
