Implementing Committee Asks KPK And BPK To Strictly Monitor The Implementation Of Formula E
JAKARTA - The Jakarta Formula E Racing Organizing Committee has asked the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) to oversee the implementation of the electric car racing event.
"For the KPK, later I will send a letter asking for an audience with the KPK itself and the committee to ask for direct assistance and strict supervision from the beginning to the end", said Chief Executive of Formula E, Ahmad Sahroni, at DKI City Hall, Monday, November 29.
The committee continued Sahroni also asked the BPK to audit the finances for the implementation of Formula E Jakarta.
"So not only the KPK but also the BPK, I will ask to continue to be audited", said the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives.
He explained that the supervision was to support transparency in the implementation of the electric car racing event in Jakarta, which is scheduled for June 4, 2022.

Currently, a team from the International Automobil Federation (FIA) and Formula E Operation (FEO) automotive sports associations are in Jakarta to conduct a site survey.
Later, the location of the Formula E implementation will be determined by a team from Formula E Operation (FEO), the Indonesian Motor Association (IMI), and the DKI Jakarta BUMD, PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).
Sahroni targets the location of the electric car racing circuit to be announced before Christmas after the survey is completed.
"Hopefully we will announce the track issue before Christmas, but wait for the survey from the FIA. If the FIA says go head, we from the committee will announce it immediately", said Sahroni.
