South Sulawesi Police Examine 10 Witnesses Of Student Dormitory Attack
MAKASSAR - The South Sulawesi Regional Police examined 10 witnesses related to the attack and burning of student dormitories that occurred in Makassar.
"So far, 10 witnesses have been questioned", said South Sulawesi Police Chief, Inspector General Nana Sudjana, in Makassar, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 29.
He said the 10 witnesses who were being questioned came from both parties, namely the Luwu Indonesian Student Association (IPMIL) and the Bone Student Association (KEPMI).
Regarding the potential of the witnesses to be used as suspects, he admitted that until now they are still focusing on the examination.
"We have received data or directions to the perpetrators, but we cannot convey them here", said the Regional Police Chief.

Inspector General Nana explained that his party had coordinated with the Governor of South Sulawesi, Pangdam XIV Hasanuddin, and the regents to resolve the case.
The Kapolda hopes that the perpetrators will immediately surrender and ensure that they will continue to investigate and develop the case to completion.
"We are serious about solving the assault and arson (student dormitory) case in Makassar. Based on the coordination meeting it was agreed that the law is the commander in chief, we will enforce the law", he said.
