Head Of Prodem Submits New Evidence At The Initial Examination Of Alleged Collusion And Nepotism Luhut And Erick Thohir
JAKARTA - Head of Pro-Democracy (Prodem), Iwan Sumule, attended the first call for clarification regarding the reporting of alleged collusion and nepotism against Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Erick Thohir. In that clarification, Iwan will attach some new evidence.
"We came with a written invitation to clarify the reports we have made. In principle, when we come, we will definitely include some additional material (evidence, ed)", Iwan told reporters, Monday, November 29.
One of the pieces of evidence that will be submitted to the investigative team is in the form of articles. Where the article contains the share ownership of PT Genomik Solidaritas Indonesia (GSI) by Luhut.
"Several articles and evidence that has been submitted by the media regarding Mr. Luhut's confession through his spokesman that Mr. Luhut owns shares in PT GSI including Mr. Erick, we report on alleged criminal violations regarding collusion and nepotism", said Iwan.
"We will also include some materials and evidence of the PCR test", he continued.

On the other hand, Iwan emphasized that with the evidence, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Erick Thohir are believed to have committed violations. So, it can be threatened with a criminal regulated in Law No. 28 of 1999.
"Article 2 states that whoever is meant by state administrators in number 3 is mentioned by the Minister and Mr. Erik and Mr. Luhut are ministers", said Iwan.
For information, ProDem reported Luhut Binsar and Erick Thohir on suspicion of collusion and nepotism. The report is registered with the number LP/B/5734/X1/2021/SPKT Polda Metro Jaya.
In the report, both were reported under Article 5 number 4 in conjunction with Article 21 and Article 22 of Law Number 28 of 1999 concerning the administration of a clean state free from Corruption, Collusion, and Nepotism.
