Backstage Will Warm Up The Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Fest 2021

JAKARTA - After releasing their first film entitled Losmen Bu Broto, Paragon Pictures and Ideosource Entertainment rushed to release their newest film, Backstage. The film, directed by Guntur Soeharjanto, will be screened in all Indonesian cinemas on December 30, 2021.

However, before being released in theaters, the film, starring sisters Vanesha Prescilla and Sissy Prescillia, had the honor to premiere at the Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Fest 2021 (JAFF 2021) film festival. On that occasion Backstage will air on November 29, 30, and December 1, 2021.

Paragon Pictures producer, Robert Ronny, said that this JAFF event could be a benchmark for Backstage films.

"As we already know, this year JAFF is trying to reunite films with their audiences, so that film fans can again feel the sensation of watching films in cinemas. And, Backstage is a film that was designed from the start to be seen in theaters. We have to support JAFF's vision and mission by showing our best films there," he said.

Vanesha said the same thing. "This is my first film that premieres at a film festival. Frankly, I'm nervous. Because most of those who watch later, it must be people who are film watchers. Hopefully everything goes well, and this film gets a good appreciation at the event." JAFF," he said.

Meanwhile, her sister, Sissy, expressed her pleasure in the film Backstage being able to premiere at the JAFF event. "I feel honored, Backstage has the opportunity to be screened at JAFF. And hopefully, Indonesian film fans in Yogya can watch with us at JAFF," said Sissy.

In addition to Vanesha and Sissy, the film, which will air on December 30, 2021, also features Achmad Megantara, Aulia Sarah, Karina Suwandi, Ferry Salim and Verdy Solaeman. Backstage film provides a true story between careers, lovers, and families who support each other.
