Regarding Persija's Defeat From Bali United, Alessio Said His Players Were Tired After Playing Against Persib
JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta had to swallow the bitter pill in the 13th week of Liga 1 2021 against Bali United. Angelo Alessio's team lost 0-1 to Serdadu Tridatu, the coach said the main factor for his team's defeat was fatigue.
Prior to meeting Bali United on Thursday, Persija had just completed a self-esteem betting match against Persib Bandung. In that match, Marco Simic et al fought hard to win 1-0.
Full effort against Persib made Persija players not appear consistent against Bali United.
Evidently, the Kemayoran Tigers fell from Bali United through Ilija Spasojevic's only goal in the first half.
"I feel that many players spent their energy extraordinary against Persib Bandung," said Angelo Alessio as quoted from Persija's official website.
"So today some players are quite tired and there are some players who can't be optimal in the first half," continued the Italian coach.

Even though Persija lost, Alessio still gave his appreciation. He is also determined to spur his team to appear more consistent and will change the formation in the next match.
"In the future, we will look for the best formation, maybe we will rotate for the next match," said Angelo Alessio.
The defeat of Bali United made Persija still stuck in the 9th position of the standings. So far the Kemayoran Tigers have collected 18 points from 13 matches.
