Today KSPI Demo In Front Of The Constitutional Court, There Will Be Road Closures To Traffic Engineering
JAKARTA – Today, the Confederation of Indonesian Trade Unions (KSPI) will hold a demonstration in front of the Constitutional Court and DKI Jakarta City Hall. The demonstration is known to be part of guarding the Constitutional Court's decision regarding the lawsuit against Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation (UU Ciptaker).
"There are 2,645 TNI, Polri, and Regional Government personnel," said Sam Suharto, Head of Public Relations of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Adjutant of Police Sam Suharto, quoted by VOI, Thursday, November 25.
Separately, Head of Traffic Unit of Central Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner of Police Purwanta, said that his party had prepared traffic engineering to anticipate traffic congestion during the demonstration.
"If it is possible to close (the road), it will be closed early," Purwanta told reporters in Jakarta.

The road sections that will be closed, continued Purwanta, are from the Horse Statue which leads to the State Palace and from the direction of Harmoni to the south.
"For those that lead to the Palace, it is closed unless tentatively officials want to go there, it's okay," he said.
Road closures are still situational. Purwanta said, meaning to see how the conditions and situations in the field.
KSPI President Said Iqbal claimed that tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of workers would be deployed in this demonstration.
"This action simultaneously involved tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of people and is an escalation of rising workers, in other words, anger is above the top," he said at a press conference, Wednesday, November 24.
