Don't Be Strange With Jakarta Traffic Jams, It's Close To The Normal Version
JAKARTA - Every weekday, the streets in Jakarta will be crowded with vehicles. Even the traffic density in many sections is already very congested, as if there was no pandemic -- jokes of some people.
Metro Jaya Police does not deny that the volume of traffic flow is approaching normal. The increase compared to the previous weeks was about 40 percent.
"In fact, at some points, there has been an 80 percent increase," said Director of Traffic of the Metro Jaya Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo, Wednesday, November 24.
"So Jakarta has started to get jammed everywhere," he continued.
Grand Commissioner Sambodo explained the volume of traffic flowing into Jakarta from the three main Halim toll gates from the Bekasi direction, Cililitan from the Bogor direction. Including from the direction of Tomang and Tangerang.
"It's all increased all over," he said.
"Of course this is a logical consequence that we cannot avoid along with the decline in PPKM in Jakarta," he continued.
