Draw Against Young Boys, Atalanta's Fate In UCL Will Be Determined On The Last Matchday, Zapata: We Should Have Won
JAKARTA - The match between Atalanta versus Young Boys ended in a 3-3 draw in the fifth matchday of Group F of the Champions League at the Stade de Suisse, Switzerland on Wednesday morning.
Atalanta's three goals were scored by Duvan Zapata, Lois Palomina, and Muriel Fruto. Meanwhile, Young Boys also scored three goals through Theoson Siebatcheu, Vincent Sierro, and Silvan Hefti.
Thanks to that result, Atalanta must beat Villarreal on 9 December 2021 to ensure qualification for the last 16.
After the match, Zapata admitted that he was disappointed with the results achieved by his team. But, he insists La Dea know what to do on the last matchday at the Gewiss Stadium.
"There are regrets, because we thought we should have won the game, but it didn't turn out that way," Duvan Zapata told Sky Sport Italia.

"It all depends on us now, we have our last game at home and if we win it we are through. It's only one result available to us for qualification and we know what we have to do."
However, before facing Villarreal, they will face another big test on Saturday in Serie A against Juventus.
"We need to rest, playing on their pitch is quite difficult, this artificial turf. We will think about Serie A first, then Villarreal," concluded Zapata.
