Verawaty Fadjrin's Struggle Against Cancer Is Over, The Body Will Be Buried Today
JAKARTA - When the news of Verawaty Fajrin getting lung cancer spread, the attention of various parties was aimed at her recovery. Verawaty had undergone chemotherapy at Friendship Hospital. But because her condition did not improve, with the help of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Health, Verawaty was transferred to Dharmais Hospital.
Verawaty's condition then gradually improved and was able to return home. But a few days ago her condition worsened again, Verawaty was rushed back to Dharmais Hospital.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports, through Sesmepora Gatot S Dewabroto, said that his party continues to communicate with the family and Dharmais Hospital to monitor Verawaty's condition. BPJS Verawaty's membership status has been raised from second class to first class.
President Director of Dharmais National Cancer Center dr. R Soeko W Nindito D, MARS ensured that Verawaty Fajrin received the best treatment in the treatment of lung cancer.
He revealed that the Indonesian badminton legend had been admitted to Dharmais Hospital twice. On the first arrival, Verawaty underwent outpatient treatment.
Material assistance also arrived, BNI, which is the main sponsor of the badminton branch, also contributed Rp350 million to Verawaty. Sidomuncul provided assistance of Rp100 million for treatment.
However, fate said otherwise. Verawaty Fadjrin has passed away peacefully at Dharmais Hospital, Jakarta, Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 06.58 western Indonesia time.
Vera, a former player full of great achievements, passed away at the age of 64 after undergoing treatment for lung cancer. Until the end of her life, Vera left her husband, Fadjriansyah Bidoein, a child Fidyandini, and two grandchildren.
