Ahead Of WSBK Mandalika, Crossing From Bali To Lombok Rises Drastically
KANGASEM - The flow of passengers passing through Padang Bali Port, Karangasem Regency, Bali, to Lembar Harbor, West Lombok, NTB has increased ahead of the World Superbike (WSBK) at the Mandalika Circuit.
The Head of the Padang Bai Waters Police, Kompol I Made Suadnyana, said that the increase in passengers had occurred five days ago. Passengers who use motorbikes are recorded to reach more than 300 per day. Meanwhile, passengers using four-wheeled vehicles or cars increased to more than 200 cars per day.
"Cars have also increased to more than 200. Motorcycle vehicles are at most 300 per day. It has started five days ago", said Police Commissioner Suadnyana, when contacted, Friday, November 19.
Meanwhile, for normal days the passengers who come to Padang Bai Port, both two-wheeled and four-wheeled, are only around 150 per day.

Suadnyana said the passengers passing through the Padang Bai Port intend to watch the WSBK at the 2021 Mandalika Circuit. Although there has been an increase in passenger flow, there are no queues.
"Yes, because (I want to watch) at Mandalika. The queue is not long because the ship is smooth. The regulations are smooth so there are no queues", he added.
Police also anticipate if there is a long queue by operating an additional dock.
"There are two docks, if there really is a queue, the two docks will function. And the ship will depart according to the schedule according to the rules", said Suadnyana.
