How To Use The Voice Effects Feature On Instagram Reels To Add Unique Voices
YOGYAKARTA - Instagram has released its newest feature, namely Voice Effects. As the name implies, this feature allows users to change their voice by adding audio effects when creating content on Instagram Reels.
Some of the effects that can be used when creating Reels content on Instagram are made like a robot, or made taller using the Voice Effects feature.
The Voice Effects feature can also be used by all Instagram users. To be able to enjoy these features, you only need to update the Instagram app on your phone to the latest version via the Google Play Store or the Apps Store.
After updating or updating, users can use the Voice Effect feature when creating content on Reels Instagram by following the steps prepared by the VOI team below.
How to Use Voice Effects on Instagram Reels
To use Voice Effects, users can open the Instagram app which has been updated to the latest version on their phone.
On the main Instagram page, users can select the "Movie Clip" icon at the bottom center to create Reels videos.
Then click the camera icon in the upper right corner, then select the options icon. You can choose to record a video directly from Instagram or take a video from your phone's gallery.
Users can also enter more than one video on Instagram Reels by pressing the "Add" icon in the upper right corner. Once the video is selected, you can trim the video clip to the desired length.
Next, you can select the "Preview" menu in the lower right corner to check if the video you made is to your liking.
After that, on the next page, you can select the "Adjust Video" menu in the lower-left corner. Later, three audio settings options will appear, namely "Camera Audio", "Voice Over", and "Add Music".
Click the three-dot icon on the "Voice Over" menu, then select "Add Effects". Next, the user can choose the sound effect you want.

Currently, there are five choices of sound effects that Instagram users can choose from, namely "Helium", "Giant", "Vocalist", "Announcer", and "Robot". The choice of effects may also increase if there are further updates.
If you have determined the sound effect that will be used, click the "Done" menu in the available display.
You can also adjust the volume of the song or the sound from the original video. If the user has done all the steps, you can press the "Next" menu in the lower right corner, to upload the video as Reels content.
Thus the content will appear in the Reels menu on the main Instagram menu. Users can also use Voice Effects in each of your Reels Instagram posts.
