New Round Of PDIP-Golkar, Try To Get Ganjar And Different Opinions On Cilacap Refinery Fire

JAKARTA - The feud between the PDIP and the Golkar Party is likely to continue. After a meeting between the Secretary-General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto and the Deputy General Chairperson (Waketum) of the Golkar Party, Nurdin Halid, who stirred up Indonesian politics because of the 'conquest' of Ganjar Pranowo.

Now it has spread to disagreements about the Pertamina oil refinery fire in Cilacap, Central Java. Allegations that there was an element of intent by the PDIP faction were flatly denied by members of the Golkar faction in the DPR.

At first, the feud started with a joke by Nurdin when he was a speaker in a discussion at the MPR/DPR complex, Jakarta, Thursday, November 11. In the discussion about the phenomenon of the emergence of volunteers for the 2024 presidential election, Nurdin joked that Golkar would accept Ganjar if he did not get a place in PDIP.

Representatives of volunteers supporting Ganjar, who call themselves Ganjarist, were also the speakers in the discussion. The chairman of Ganjirst, Mazdjo Pray, was present in person.

"Whether the volunteer's aspiration is rejected or not is not important, what matters is that the voice of Golkar is the voice of the people, the voice of the people is the voice of Golkar," said Nurdin at the DPR Building, Thursday, November 11.

"So Mazdjo's brother doesn't have to worry, later if Ganjar doesn't get a place in his party, there is an open Golkar, whether number one number two is a matter of later," he added.

According to Nurdin, Golkar is ready to become Ganjar's new home. However, Ganjar was reminded to assume he was the owner of Golkar.

"Mr. Airlangga can't go forward alone, there must be a representative, because there are Mazdjo's aspirations, in this place, there is no new house, but when we enter a new house, it's not just a contract, we don't become owners. Together, we become owners. ," said Nurdin.

In response to that, the PDIP reacted. Hasto's response to Nurdin Halid's joke was quite surprising. Hasto accused Nurdin of having persuaded Ganjar several times, but he refused.

"What was offered by one of the Golkar elites, namely Mr. Nurdin Halid, perhaps illustrates his despair after repeatedly persuading Ganjar Pranowo, but Mr. Ganjar is not interested, and every time he is asked about the issue of presidential and vice-presidential candidates, Mr. Ganjar prefers to work for the people to handle the problems of pandemic," said Hasto, told reporters on Friday, November 12.

Hasto said Ganjar was born from the regeneration process. He also believes that the Governor of Central Java understands and obeys the party's AD/ART.

The Secretary-General of the PDIP for two terms then brought up the services of the parties that made Ganjar elected as Governor of Central Java. According to Hasto, it was this history that made Ganjar understand that the affairs of the 2024 presidential election were in the hands of Megawati Soekarnoputri.

"From the process of becoming governor himself, Mr. Ganjar knew very well that when he was nominated as governor, at that time his electoral votes were far below the incumbent. Only because through collective work, mutual cooperation, which was united with the people, Mr. Ganjar could be championed as Governor of Central Java," said Hasto.

"Awareness of this historical aspect has made Mr. Ganjar understand that the affairs of the presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the party congress have been handed over to the Chairperson of the Party," he continued.

Besides Hasto, the PDIP elite Hendrawan Supratikno also took part in the feud. Hendrawan thinks that Nurdin Halid is not credible in discussing Golkar's presidential and vice-presidential candidates.

"As a rule of thumb, serious and credible statements usually come from the general chairman of the party in a clear and binding forum. Otherwise, it would just be the beat of a political orchestration," explained Hendrawan.

Response to the Pertamina Cilacap Refinery Fire

On Saturday, November 13, there was news that the oil refinery in Cilacap, Central Java, was on fire.

The PDIP faction of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) doubts that the refinery fire was due to natural factors caused by a lightning strike. Because the oil refinery is a vital object whose safety is very well maintained.

A member of Commission VII DPR Adian Napitupulu, questioned the real factors that occurred as the cause of the burning of the oil refinery. He said PDIP was not sure that the reason for the fire came from a lightning strike.

"Thunderbolts can happen at any time. With today's technological capabilities, security should be much better. Seeing that it has happened so many times, is it okay to fix it at all? Because it happened many times, we see that maybe it's not just natural factors, maybe other factors are not open? For example, human error'," said Adian in the PDIP Faction room, Nusantara I Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Monday, 15 November.

Meanwhile, Member of Commission VII of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Nasyirul Falah Amru, suspected that there was an element of intent in the fire at the refinery containing pertalite-type fuel oil. He wasn't sure the refinery caught fire from the lightning strike.

"It is said that security is international standards, international standards are inferior to lightning. Now, this is all irrational, if it is said that it is a lightning factor. So sabotage is possible and we highly suspect," said Nasyirul in the PDIP Faction Room, Nusantara I Parliament Complex, Monday, 15 November.

He was surprised that there had been repeated fires and asked for a thorough investigation, but until now Pertamina has not realized the request.

"In June last year when Balongan burned down, the Balongan refinery burned down, the PDIP-P faction had also asked to conduct a thorough investigation. But until now it has not been done," he said.

In response, Member of Commission VI DPR from the Golkar faction, Nusron Wahid, reminded certain parties not to develop speculations related to the Pertamina oil refinery fire in Cilacap, Central Java. The reason is, there are suspicions that the oil refinery fire is sabotage or an element of intent.

"Fire is a fire, that's all. Now we leave it to the authorities, the authorities to carry out investigations, the police, what was the cause of the factory fire. Don't develop strange speculations so that it is in the context of imports and so on. No! Far away That's a dirty thought and a suudzonic thought," said Nusron at the DPR Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 16.

Although many people are surprised that the fires at the Cilacap refinery keep repeating themselves, the Golkar politician does not want to assume that it is skewed. According to him, it is better for Pertamina and the Ministry of BUMN and the authorities to thoroughly investigate the fire.

"That's why it's now being investigated, then announced to the public so that it doesn't become a slander. Then, Pertamina also learns. He manages the management because of the reasons why there are fires many times. It's like a beautiful girl entering the hospital, maybe you want to go to the hospital so you don't want to be proposed to wait for this, it's too far away," explained Nusron.

Nusron said there is no plan to form a working committee to investigate the Pertamina refinery fire.

"There is no committee yet that the person concerned has been invited to a meeting, yes, but if the committee has not," said Nusron.

So what else will happen to Golkar and PDIP?
