You Must Know, Emtek Owned By Conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja Changes The Name Of OMNI Hospitals To EMC Hospitals

JAKARTA - The hospital company from the Emtek Group owned by conglomerate Eddy Kusnadi Sariaatmadja, PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME) changed the names of all its hospitals from OMNI Hospitals to EMC Hospitals.

Corporate Secretary of Sarana Meditama Metropolitan, Rahmiyati Yahya, explained that the company has changed the identity of the hospital it manages.

"The change in the name and logo of the hospital from what was previously OMNI to EMC also includes changes to the hospital tagline", she explained on the information disclosure page of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), quoted Tuesday, November 16.

SAME, which previously managed two hospital brands, namely hospitals with the red OMNI Hospitals logo with the tagline We Care with Passion, became EMC Hospitals in turquoise with the tagline Transforming Healthcare Experience.

After changing the logo and tagline, both of them changed to EMC Healthcare with the tagline We Care with Passion. This name change will take effect gradually from November 12 2021 for 6 hospitals.

The six hospitals were transformed into EMC Alam Sutera Hospital; EMC Cikarang; EMC Pekayon; EMC Pulomas; EMC Sentul; and EMC Tangerang.

"There is no material adverse impact on operational activities, legal financial conditions, or the continuity of the company's operations", said Rahmiyati.

The change in the name of the hospital is in line with the change in the company's controlling shareholder to PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk. (EMTK) which already has the hospital brand EMC. As of October 31, 2021, EMTK holds 12.87 billion shares of SAME or 75.14 percent, the remaining 24.86 percent is held by the public.
