The Entire East Kalimantan Region Is In The COVID-19 Yellow Zone
SAMARINDA - All areas in East Kalimantan Province have the status of being in the COVID-19 yellow zone or the number of positive confirmed patients undergoing treatment is less than 25 people based on daily case updates.
Spokesman for the COVID-19 Task Force for East Kalimantan Province Andi Muhammad Ishak said the West Kutai Regency area was the last area to be included in the yellow zone with 22 COVID-19 patients being treated.
"The day before, Kubar was still in the orange zone, and we are grateful that currently there has been a decline in cases and has entered the yellow zone," said Andi Muhammad Ishak in Samarinda, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 15.
However, Andi emphasized that the Mahakam Ulu area, which previously had the status of a green zone or zero cases, has now changed to the yellow zone with one patient being treated.
According to Andi, based on daily case updates on Monday, November 15, the number of recovered cases increased by 21 while the confirmed positive cases increased by 11 cases.

With the addition of new cases, the accumulation of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in East Kalimantan is 158,131 cases, while those who have been declared cured are 152,597 cases.
"For cases of death again, there are no additional new cases, so the total number of deaths in East Kalimantan is still at 4,541 people," Andi explained.
Andi said he was grateful that the number of COVID-19 cases in East Kalimantan continued to decline, currently, there are 83 patients who are still undergoing treatment.
"We still urge the public to orderly implement health protocols, considering the potential for case explosions still exists, especially if people are in a state of carelessness," said Andi Muhammad Ishak.
