Police Ensure Eradication Of Land Mafia Continues
JAKARTA - The National Police has ensured that efforts to eradicate the land mafia by the police through the Anti Land Mafia Task Force are still ongoing, by taking legal action against criminals.
Head of the Public Information Section (Kabag Penum) of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan said the police leadership had instructed the regional police chiefs and regional police chiefs not to hesitate in thoroughly investigating the land mafia case.
"The National Police Headquarters has formed the Anti Land Mafia Task Force some time ago. In its operation, the Anti Land Mafia Task Force cooperates with the Ministry of ATR or BPN and in the regional police, the regional police will also cooperate with regional BPN offices," said Ramadhan quoted by Antara, Monday, November 15th.
Ramadhan said that recently an arrest was made in the form of a hand arrest operation (OTT) at the Lebak National Land Agency (BPN) by the Banten Police.
The Banten Police arrested two suspects with the initials RY and TR who were employees of the Lebak Regency BPN office.
"The problem is related to extortion carried out by RY and TR in the process of obtaining land title certificates in Lebak Regency," said Ramadhan.

Until now, said Ramadhan, the investigation process against the two suspects is still ongoing. Ramadhan also emphasized that the public should entrust the police to solve the land mafia case.
"We make sure the process will be carried out in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations," said Ramadhan.
