Sintang-Pertamina Regency Government Holds LPG Market Operation During Flood
SINTANG - The Sintang Regency Government in collaboration with PT Pertamina held a 3-kilogram LPG pass operation to help relieve the community in the Sintang area of West Kalimantan, which is still hit by floods.
"The operation of the LPG gas market is to ease the burden on the community, because we received information about a 3 kg LPG price increase, even though the stock is available even though the flood is hitting," said Sintang Regent Yosepha Hasnah, in Sintang, West Kalimantan, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 15.
Yosepha said that on the first day of the market operation, 1,120 3-kilogram LPG cylinders had been prepared at two points in order to help residents affected by flooding.
For residents who want to exchange LPG gas cylinders, they only need to bring a family card and ID card, they can already get two 3-kilogram LPG cylinders at a price of Rp16,500/tube.
According to him, for Monday, November 15, the first location is at the Department of Industry and Trade and UKM Sintang with 560 gas cylinders and the second location at Sungai Ana Market Page with 560 LPG cylinders.
Meanwhile, for Tuesday, November 16, the LPG market will operate in two locations, also at Raya Market/Inpres Sintang Market with 560 cylinders and the second location at the Kapuas Kanan Hulu Village Head Office with 560 cylinders.
"We also provide free refilled drinking water on Dharma Putra street in front of Alfamart," said Yosepha, who also serves as Sintang Regional Secretary.

"The stock of fuel and LPG is safe and smooth. The service also remains smooth, we even use canoes and fast boats to distribute LPG gas to agents," explained Novan Reza Pahlevi.
According to Novan, his party also provides an additional LPG allocation of around five percent for each agent in order to help with flood management.
"So people don't need to panic, we make sure people get LPG easily," said Novan.
