General Andika Gives Tasks To TNI Soldiers Shot By KKB Papua: Must Recover 100 Percent
JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Andika Perkasa encouraged First Lieutenant Inf Rudi Sipayung, an Indonesian Army soldier who was seriously injured when he was shot by an armed criminal group (KKB) in Gome District, Puncak Regency, Papua.
"The task is to recover one hundred percent, you have to be able to do it, so that you can return but I will not return you there," said General Andika when visiting First Lieutenant Inf. Rudi Sipayung, at Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital through the Indonesian Army's YouTube channel which was monitored in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Thursday, November 11th.
After being shot, Inf Lieutenant Rudi Sipayung was immediately evacuated to the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital in Jakarta for intensive treatment. Currently, the condition of the TNI AD soldiers is generally quite stable.
In addition to suffering a gunshot wound to the upper right chest, Lieutenant Rudi was also known to have been exposed to COVID-19. The RSPAD team of doctors gradually took action for the recovery of the TNI personnel.
