DKI Provincial Government Submits Formula E Documents To KPK, PSI: Hopefully Pak Anies Dare To Open One Sheet Of Proof Of Transfer Commitment Fee
JAKARTA - Member of the PSI faction of the DKI Jakarta Regional House of Representatives, Anggara Wicitra Satroamidjojo, responded to the arrival of DKI Governor Anies Baswedan's subordinates to the KPK to submit a 600-page document related to Formula E. The DKI Provincial Government is also expected to attach a document proof of payment of the commitment fee Formula E.
"Hopefully, Mr. Anies will be brave enough to open proof of transfer of a commitment fee of IDR 560 billion. One sheet is enough, it doesn't have to be 600 pages", Anggara said in his statement, Wednesday, November 10.
Anggara wants the public to know whether the DKI Provincial Government has handed over a commitment fee of IDR 560 billion to the license holder of Formula E, Formula E Operation (FEO), or not.
"From there, we will see if the money is transferred to the FEO account in the UK or deposited with another party", said Anggara.
This doubt, continued Anggara, was based on the commitment fee payment made by the DKI Youth and Sports Office using the 2019 and 2020 Regional Budget.
In fact, according to him, this payment should have been made by PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the executor of Formula E which will be held in June 2022.
"Both in the private sector and the government, a reasonable procedure is that financial transactions can only be carried out by the related parties mentioned in the contract", said Anggara.
"So, only Jakpro can pay to FEO, and vice versa FEO can only accept payments from Jakpro. The question is, Department of Youth and Sports pays Formula E IDR 560 billion to whom?", he said.
