Jakarta Police Are Still Chasing One Murderer In A Brawl On Kamal Street, Penjaringan
JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the North Jakarta Metro Police arrested the perpetrators of the violent beating and torture that caused the victim to die. The perpetrators with the initials DS (19), AS (23), IS (23), RV (23) were arrested. Meanwhile, FS is still being chased by officers.
North Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Grand Commissioner Pol Guruh Arif Darmawan said the motives for the suspects were to gang up and torture the victim to death.
"The motive is because groups of victims and groups of suspects are often involved in brawls. The victim who died had the initials NMR (18) a resident of Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta," said the Police Chief when confirmed, Wednesday, November 10.
As is known, the brawl took place on Kapuk Kamal Street, Penjaringan Subdistrict, North Jakarta. The victim with the initials NMR died horribly after being beaten with sharp weapons by 10 suspects.

"There are still approximately 6 more people who are still being searched, their characteristics are known," he said.
At the time of the brawl, the victim was in the leading position with his friends, initials FF and IM. FF and IM are witnesses.
The commotion started when the group of victims attacked the group of perpetrators. Then the victim was stabbed by a sickle by the suspect FS (DPO). After being stabbed by a sickle by FS (DPO), the victim staggered who was then beaten by DS, AS, IS, and RV as well as other perpetrators who are still at large.
The victim was found dead by a patrol officer from the Penjaringan Police, who conducted a crime scene investigation. Based on the witness' instructions, the suspects were arrested in various areas.
"The suspect IS was arrested in Bandung and the suspects DS, AS and RV were arrested around their respective homes," said the police chief.
Police confiscated a number of evidence including sharp weapons belonging to the perpetrators. Suspects DS, AS, IS, and RV confessed to their actions. They were charged with Article 170 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code and or Article 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code and or Article 338 of the Criminal Code which carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison.
