Good News For Investors: BCA Distributes Interim Dividend Of Rp3.08 Trillion, Conglomerate Hartono Brothers Gets Allotment Of Rp1.64 Trillion

JAKARTA - PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) will distribute a cash interim dividend of Rp25 per share for the 2021 financial year (period 1 January 2021 to 30 September 2021). The total cash interim dividend to be paid is Rp3.08 trillion.

The dividend increased by 27.5 percent compared to the interim dividend of the previous financial year. In an official statement from the largest private bank in the country, quoted on Tuesday 9 November, cash interim dividends will be distributed to shareholders whose names are recorded in the Company Register on 18 November 2021 at 16.15 western Indonesia time or record date.

The distribution of interim cash dividends for the 2021 financial year of this banking issuer coded BBCA is based on the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) on March 29, 2021.

Furthermore, this dividend distribution is also based on the decision of the Board of Directors of the Company as referred to in the Decree of the Board of Directors Number 221/SL/DIR/2021 dated November 4, 2021, and the approval of the Board of Commissioners of the Company as referred to in the Decree of the Board of Commissioners Number 177/SK/KOM/2021 November 4, 2021.

The schedule for the distribution of BCA's cash interim dividend for the 2021 financial year is as follows:

- Date of cum dividend in the regular market and negotiated market: November 16, 2021

- Date of ex-dividend in the regular market and negotiating market: November 17, 2021

- Date of cum dividend in cash market: November 18, 2021

- Date of ex-dividend in cash market: November 19, 2021

- Recording date: 18 November 2021

- Interim dividend payment date: 7 December 2021

- Date of submission of SKD/DGT proof of record: 23 November 2021

BCA is a company whose majority shares are owned by the richest people in Indonesia, namely Robert Budi Hartono and Michael Bambang Hartono. Duo Hartono holds BCA shares through PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan with a percentage of 54.94 percent or 67,729,950,000 shares.

With this amount, the conglomerate Hartono brothers will receive BCA's interim dividend of around Rp1.64 trillion.

Meanwhile, the President Director of BCA, namely Jahja Setiaatmadja, will also be "splattered" from this dividend distribution action. Jahja has 0.03 BCA shares or the equivalent of 40,797,985 BCA shares.

If calculated, Jahja will receive an interim dividend of around Rp1.02 billion.
