Travis Scott And Kylie Jenner Speak Up About Astroworld Concert Chaos
JAKARTA - The annual Astroworld festival initiated by singer Travis Scott became a tragedy that left eight people dead on the spot. The chaos at the concert on Friday, November 5 was unstoppable due to the large number of spectators.
Astroworld is a festival featuring Travis Scott as the initiator and lead singer. For three years, for the first time, this event resulted in a death toll.
Through his social media, Travis Scott made a video and wrote a statement he would cooperate with the police for the investigation process.
“I am devastated by what happened last night. My prayers go out to the family and all those affected by what happened at the Astroworld Festival," said Travis Scott on Saturday, November 6.
Travis also supported the Houston police's move to investigate the concert.
“I am committed to working with the Houston community to support families in need. Thank you Houston police, fire department, and NRG Park for their support and response."
Kylie Jenner as a lover of Travis Scott also expressed condolences to the tragic incident and the victims.
"My prayers and thoughts go out to those who lost their lives, were injured, and felt the impact of yesterday's events - and to Travis who I know deeply cares about the Houston fans and community," said Kylie Jenner.

Kylie explained that the organizers were not aware of any events until the end of the event. If they knew about it, they would not continue the show.
The exact cause of this incident is still being investigated, starting from the condition of the stage, security, to the crowd who watched Travis Scott's action.
