Asking For A Lover With A Dowry Of Rp100 Thousand, A Prisoner In The Case Of Ijab Kabul Robbery At The Medan Timur Police

MEDAN - Medan Timur Police held a prisoner's wedding. The marriage agreement was held at the Al-Hidayah Mosque right next to the East Medan Police Headquarters.

The consent and acceptance were witnessed directly by the Head of the East Medan Police, Kompol M Arifin. The families of both parties were also present.

With a dowry of Rp. 100,000, a male couple named Ardiansyah (19) immediately proposed to Tiara Asiyah (19). After receiving the dowry, the guardian from the woman's side immediately started the marriage agreement.

After the consent was pronounced, all the witnesses said "legitimate".

The Head of the East Medan Police, Kompol M Arifin, said the married couple were arrested in a criminal theft case with violence.

"He (the male partner) was caught in a robbery case that occurred 3 months ago," said Kompol Arifin to VOI, Friday, November 5.

According to Kompol Arifin, the couple's marriage had been planned for a long time.

"But because this male couple is entangled in a criminal case. So, today we will proceed," he said.

During his tenure as the East Medan Police Chief, Kompol Arifin said his party had held three weddings.

"This is the third time that a prisoner has married at the East Medan Police," said Kompol Arifin.
