For The Chief of Naval Staff Yudo Margono, Crisis Time Is The Best Test For A Leader

JAKARTA - The Chief of Naval Staff (Kasal) Admiral Yudo Margono gave advice to graduates of the 59th Seskoal Dikreg Graduates FY 2021.

"The crisis period is the best time for an officer to become a true leader. That's where all knowledge, experience, character, and leadership resilience are tested. Prepare yourself to dare to face challenges and win in all leadership situations," said National Armed Force (TNI) Admiral Yudo Margono, Wednesday, November 3.

This event was held at the Yos Sudarso Seskoal Auditorium Building, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

Kasal accompanied by Jalasenastri General Chair Vero Yudo Margono inaugurated 175 officers consisting of 166 Navy officers from various corps, namely 50 Marine Corps, 26 Engineering Corps, 15 Electronics Corps, 10 Supply Corps, 39 Marine Corps, 4 Health Corps, 7 Special Corps, and 4 Military Police Corps, 2 Army Officers, 2 Air Force Officers, 4 Police Officers, and 4 Navy Officers from friendly countries namely Malaysia, Singapore, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates.

Kasal said that Seskoal as a center of excellence on naval and maritime science has an important role in educating and equipping officers to become marine technocrats who have broad insights. Including having ideas and strategic thinking in the field of maritime affairs, maritime affairs, and national defense at sea.

It is hoped that by undergoing the Naval Command and Staff School Education for 10 months, it can form officers who have a mature mindset, action pattern, and attitude pattern, sharp analytical skills, and broad horizons of view.

"When it comes to being a leader, these provisions are very useful in the decision-making process quickly and accurately," said Kasal, quoted from the Indonesian Navy.

The Closing Ceremony of Seskoal Dikreg Batch 59 TA. 2021 begins with the calendaring of student marks, embedding the Dharma Wiratama pin and the awarding of Dharma Wiratama Parpurna, Dharma Wiratama Cendikia, Dharma Wiratama Widiawacana and Dharma Wiratama Sumekar awards, followed by the awarding of diplomas, and reading of the best students.

As for the best graduates in the 59th batch of Seskoal Dikreg. 2021, namely Marine Major (F) Dani Widjanarka, and the best overseas is Major Tay Cheng Han from the Singapore Navy and the best in writing scientific papers for Marine Major (F) Harun Bekti Haryoko.

Meanwhile, Danseskoal Rear Admiral TNI Tunggul Suropati, in front of the media, said that Seskoal must be able to follow the development of existing technology and information so that it can provide more modern and more advanced knowledge and create a strategic environment based on education.

Also present at the event were Vice-Admiral TNI Ahmadi Heri Purwono, Danpushidrosal Admiral TNI Agung Prasetiawan, Dankodiklatal Vice Admiral TNI Nurhidayat, top officials at Headquarters, officers from the TNI AL Municipality, the core administrators of the center and the Jalasenastri municipality, and other invitees.
