Demon Comet Explodes Again And Introduces 'Tanduk' During Halloween

JAKARTA Comet 12/Pons-Books (12P) who are more familiar with being called the Devil's Komet erupted again during hallowen. This explosion made the Devil's Comet again have its own distinctive head.

According to theSpace report, this new explosion was the second explosion during October and the third since July. This explosion proves that comets that are heading towards this earth are active.

The Devil's comet is an iceberg cometical. This comet has a dense core in the form of ice, gas, and dust. One of the reasons this comet exploded was a coma that surrounds it, namely a runaway cloud formed from an internal comet material.

On July 20, the Devil's Comet or 12P exploded for the first time in 69 years. This explosion appeared due to a coma evolving to 7,000 times wider than its core even though it was not shaped.

The next explosion followed on October 5. At that time, the explosion produced was greater than astronomers' research in July. The peak of this explosion appeared even though it was in the lobby, last October 31.

According to reports, the third 12P explosion was 100 times brighter than usual. This explosion was so big that it continued to the next day according to Astronomist Amati Eliot Herman's statement toSpaceweather.

As he is known, the coma that caused this explosion extends to growing the horn in the comet. However, the shape of this horn is not so clear, different from the previous explosion.

Currently, the Devil's Comet is heading towards the sun and is expected to reach its closest point on April 24 next year. After circling the sun, this comet will reach its closest point to Earth on June 2 next year.

This comet takes 71 years to circle the sun. Most of the years spent hiding outside the solar system so astronomers can only see the Devil's Comet as it approaches the sun.
