JAKARTA - During the 2023 BlizzCon live broadcast, World of Warcraft Executive Producer Blizzard Holly Longdale announced that the next expansion for the World of Warcraft titled Cataclysm will be coming next year.
"Next year, the realm of Classical Development will expand from Wrath Classic to Cataclysm Classic, with some changes based on player input and demand," the announcement reads on Blizzard's official website.
In a trailer that was also shared, the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Classic will change the landscape of the two main major continents of the game, bringing a completely new storyline.
The trailer features several important parts of the Cataclysm expansion, including the large number of raids and basements, culminating with the main antagonist Deathwing perched above the gates of the Alliance capital, Stormwind.
