JAKARTA - CEO of Google Sundar Pichai once invited Apple CEO Tim Cook to have an in-depth partner relationship. This invitation came at the end of 2018.

In a report by The Verge regarding the summit session with the United States (US) government, Pichai made a proposal inviting Apple to install the Google Search application on all iOS devices.

In his testimony, Pichai explained a simple reason for the invitation. He sees that his company's apps and widgets are quite popular on Android so that the straightening figure is more than imagined.

If Googlesearch is included in the device with iOS support, of course Apple will generate more revenue. The agreement Pichai submitted is considered beneficial for both parties.

However, as we predicted, Apple rejected this deal. The company is confident in their software so it never loads devices from third parties.

Even though it was rejected, Google did not give up. In his confession, Pichai said that he and Cook always meet once a year to discuss their agreement, including making Google Apple's built-in search engine.

Meanwhile, Apple revealed that revenue from the profit-sharing agreement between its company and Google fell in 2018. Google's revenue grew faster than Apple.

Responding to the complaint, Google said that there were several ideas that caused the sharing of these results to be uneven. One of the reasons is the use of the Siri Suggestion feature which can actually be done by Google devices as well.

Even so, Google emphasizes that its company has never been in control of the number of traffic that Safari receives in any form because only Apple has controls.
