Instagram Trial Features To Create Special Stickers From Personal Photos

JAKARTA - Meta seems to be testing a lot of new features on Instagram. After announcing the launch of a trial of the poll feature in the comments column, Instagram is now testing again.

Most recently, Instagram is testing a sticker-making feature, which allows users to create stickers specifically from their own photos, and can be used into Reel or Stories.

"Back with another fun test. We're testing ways for you to turn photos into special stickers for use on rolls and stories," wrote Instagram Head Adam Mosseri in his broadcast channel quoted Monday, October 23.

Based on the brief demonstration given, it seems that the way this feature works is very simple. You just need to select photos to be used as stickers, then Instagram will select the photo subject and remove the background.

"You can create stickers from your own photo in your roll camera, or from an image that qualifies you see on Instagram. It's nice to see people creative with this, Imk (let me know) your opinion," he added.

Earlier, Mosseri also announced that they were piloting a new poll feature in the Instagram comment column.

Not only that, some time ago, the platform also announced it was testing options for a more customized Stories experience based on Close Friends. This new feature allows users to create multiple lists for certain content for certain groups of people.
