Apple Store Alami Crash Site During IPhone 15 Launch

JAKARTA - The Apple Store site experienced technical problems on Friday, September 15 when consumers defetently flocked to make new early iPhone 15 orders.

The initial order for this new flagship product was officially opened at 13.00 BST, after the new smartphone was announced a few days ago.

However, at 13.15 BST, the Apple Store site experienced disruption and most likely due to a large spike in orders. A message on the website featured a message: "Almost finished. Just a few last touches and the Apple Store will be ready. See you soon." Angry consumers expressed their disappointment on social media platforms.

One user, Matt Wallace, wrote: "Apple is the largest company in the world and they can't even make their website work at the planned launch of the iPhone 15!"

Others shared screenshots of error messages with posts: "I: take my money! Apple: No!"

Another user, Kyle Thayer wrote: 'The initial order of the iPhone is pretty bad. The Apple Store app crashed many times, and lost my order. I tried to use a laptop and it still took about 15 minutes."

Dan Symone B. Beez added: 'Even Apple, a company worth $3 trillion, is late in launching their iPhone 15 product.'

The Apple Store site remains inaccessible for about 15 minutes before customers report it can access it again. Apple announced the iPhone 15 awaited at the company's 'Worldlust' event in California on Tuesday, September 12.

The standard set of mobile phones starts at $799 (IDR 12.2 million) and is equipped with the same 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens that users obtained from the previous generation of iPhones.

However, this new phone has undergone significant changes to its screen. The "Notch" at the top of the phone, which was previously considered a design flaw, has been replaced by the "dynamical island" used in the current Pro model.

This flagship device is also available in five new colors - attractive pink, yellow, green, blue, and black - as well as having an upgraded camera that should allow for stronger zoom.

Apple says the iPhone 15 will have a "batch life all day" and that 15 Pluss will have a larger battery, but it's not clear how long the two will last.

Apple also confirmed that the iPhone 15 will be equipped with the same USB-C charging port as the one currently used to fill out the iPad and Mac.

The AirPods Pro will also switch to USB-C, which should allow faster charging in all Apple products.

The iPhone 15 also has a new artificial intelligence-based "sound isolation" feature that will make it easier to hear even if you're on a busy train or in public.

Meanwhile, Apple is proud of how environmentally friendly the iPhone 15, with the addition that it has a partially recycled casing and fully reused cobalt content.

Apple also claims the new A17 Pro chipset is 10 times heavier than its predecessor and comparable to some PCs. This should make it better to play mobile games with high resolutions.
