JAKARTA - After its uncertainty, Paradox Interactive has re-announced the launch of Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 at PAX West 2023.

Another news is that the game is now scheduled for release in fall 2024, and is being developed by a new developer, namely The Chinese Room, the studio behind games like Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs and Dear Esther.

We're excited to welcome @ChineseRoom to the vamily, and proud to share their work on Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. https://t.co/cFytHVeSwJ pic.twitter.com/Un209ZhA80

Located in Seattle, Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will put players in the position of an old Vampire. Players must face different factions and choose the right allies.

"Fight past modern Seattle on the verge of an open war as an old Vampire. Meet the strong players, ally and decide who will rule and what this city will be," the developer wrote in the game caption.

The game is scheduled to get a new full-length video gameplay in January, and the clan that can be played in the game will also be exhibited in stages from now on until the end of the year.

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is experiencing a fairly problematic development period. Originally developed by Hardsuit Labs, the game was then taken over by the studio.

Launching GamingBolt, in July 2022, Interactive Paradox CEO Fredrick Wester stated that the game is now in the right hands.

While it doesn't yet have an exact date for its launch, let's wait for further information from the studio in the future.
