Defeated By The Philippines, Indonesia Runner-up At IESF 15th World's Esports Championship 2023

JAKARTA - After going through the Grand Final match against the Philippines, the Indonesian national team number Mobile Legends: Bang Bang came out as runner up in the IESF 15th World's Esports Championship 2023 in Romania.

Using the Best of Five (BO5) match format, in the first game, Indonesia managed to dominate the game and successfully conquered a team from a country often called Mutiara Laut from Orien.

But unfortunately, Calvin (Vynn) and his friends' victories did not continue into the next game. In the last three games, the Philippines managed to win consecutive matches.

With a 3-1 win over Indonesia, the Philippines managed to come out as the First Champion of the IESF 15th World's Esports Championship 2023 and secured its first gold for the MLBB number.

However, the struggle of the Indonesian national team was quite great. After taking to the lower brackets in the playoffs, Indonesia was very violent to fight against teams from Mongolian, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

Indonesia also managed to advance to the Grand Final round to meet again with the Philippines. With this acquisition, Indonesia won a silver medal at the IESF 15th World's Esports Championship 2023.
