GoTo Financial Officially Launches GoPay App, Download Now!

JAKARTA - GoTo's financial technology unit which focuses on consumer payment, consumer lending, and merchant service services, GoTo Financial officially launched the GoPay application independently.

"As the BI report, there are still many unbanked people (not yet having a bank account). We really want to encourage financial inclusivity. We really want to provide a solution, which is easy, fitting, and precise as they need," said GoTo President of Financial Technology, Hans Patuwo at a press conference launching the GoPay application on Wednesday, July 26 at the GoPay office, Jakarta.

With the vision of facilitating and providing GoPay services to all people in Indonesia, this application is developed with a compact design and a relatively small size, so it can be downloaded for all smartphone models.

"The cellphone specifications are different, so we want the GoPay application to be downloaded easily on any device in Indonesia," added Hans.

Similar to GoPay in the Gojek application, with this GoPay application users can make various types of payments ranging from buying data packages, credits, and all other types of payments.

Interestingly, the GoPay application provides users with profits for free transfer fees to all banks 100 times per month.

In addition, with the launch of this application, GoTo also wants to encourage user financial inclusivity. So, the GoPay application also provides all information regarding all expenses from each user.

"Expenses tracking. Recording all types of expenses. This is the first step to provide transparency to record how much is issued by users," he concluded.
