JAKARTA - The Dutch online platform, OLX, assisted law enforcement on EU antitrust competition in its investigation of Facebook owner Meta Platforms. This was announced by the Naspers unit on Friday, July 21.
The European Commission has accused Meta of gaining unfair profits by tying up marketplace classification ad services with social network Facebook and imposing unfair trade conditions on rival online classification advertising services.
Meta, which denies the allegations in a closed trial organized by EU competition watchdog last week, has stated that the EU case is baseless.

OLX said they took part in the trial "to contribute to their investigation of Meta's antitrust practices."
"We welcome fair competition and will follow the progress of the Commission's hearing with interest," an OLX spokesman said.
