Partnering With Google, Vidio Dot Com Opens 250 Internship Slots For Rise Graduates

JAKARTA - During the Grow with Google event which was held on Thursday, June 15 in the South Jakarta area, the search giant announced that they are now officially partnering with Vidio Dot Com, a video streaming service provider platform.

In a partnership agreed this year, Vidio Dot Com will provide more than 250 internship slots for students/i who graduated from the Bangkit program from Google.

"This year Google is partnering with Vidio dot com for 250 internship slots for Google Bangkit graduates," said Putri Alam, Director of Public Policy and Government Relations, Google Indonesia at the event.

Furthermore, the collaboration established by all of its partners is carried out as a company's mission to improve digital skills in Indonesia.

When interviewed about the reasons for recruiting workers and interns from Bangkit graduates, Alvien Khairullah, Chief Human Resources Officer, PT Vidio Dot Com said that Bangkit graduates have promising experiences, especially because they have graduated from all the curricula provided by Google.

This reason was later also corroborated by facts from Google's internal data which revealed that more than 61 percent of Google's partners were satisfied with Bangkit's graduates.

This year, Google is targeting 9,000 students/i to be able to join the Bangkit program. Not only for students equivalent to S1, in 2023, vocational students and D4 can also register.
