JAKARTA - Indonesia is the country with the longest population using the internet in the world. According to a data.ai report entitled "State of Mobile 2023," Indonesians access the internet for 5.7 hours per day in 2023. This duration increases by 5.56 percent when compared to 2021.

In accessing the internet, people are given a number of internet package options, two of which are internet quota packages and broadband packages provided by Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

Between the two choices, it turns out that Indonesian people prefer to buy internet quota packages. This refers to a survey conducted by the Katadata Insight Center (KIC) and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kemenkominfo).

This survey shows that spending on internet quota by the Indonesian people per month will increase in 2022. This increase especially occurs in groups spending internet quota of less than IDR 50.000 to IDR 100.000 per month.

It is not surprising that people prefer shopping for internet quota, because there are indeed a number of drawbacks to using broadband internet, such as not being able to use it for high mobility, not all places can be accessed or served by broadband ISPs; such as in rural or inland areas, to installation and subscriptions which are quite expensive if the usage is not too large.

However, there are risks if you use tethering too often, such as gadgets that heat up quickly or even break quickly. So, an alternative to this problem is that people can use a 4G LTE Router.
