U-17 World Cup Results 2023: United States 2-1 Victory Makes Burkina Faso Knocked Out

The United States U-17 is one step away from qualifying for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup (doc. FIFA).

JAKARTA - The United States U-17 managed to beat Burkina Faso U-17 with a score of 2-1 on the second matchday of Group E of the 2023 U-17 World Cup at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Wednesday, November 14, 2023.

United States U-17 victory also ensured that Burkina Faso U-17 was saved from ticket hunting for the last 16 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

The three points achieved by the United States U-17 made them firm at the top of Group E with a collection of six points. Meanwhile, Burkina Faso was stuck in the lowest position after being defeated 0-3 by France U-17 in the inaugural match.

The game was actually quite tight at the start of the round. The United States U-17 and Burkina Faso U-17 took turns showing attacks.

However, The Yanks appeared more efficient and managed to score two goals at the end of the first half. Their opener was scored by Keyrol Figueroa in the 45th minute.

The goal was created thanks to Rudisill's low cross which Fugueroa managed to grab in the mouth of Les Etalons' goal.
