High Enthusiasm, 10,000 U-17 World Cup Tickets Sold At The Opening Match In Bandung

BANDUNG - The Regency Government (Pemkab) of Bandung Regency noted that 10,000 U-17 World Cup tickets had been sold in the opening match of Group D between Japan and Poland and Argentina against Senegal at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Saturday, November 11.

The Regional Secretary of Bandung Regency, Cakra Amiyama, revealed that the enthusiasm of the community seemed good with ticket sales being divided into two matches. The U-17 World Cup in Bandung Regency received a positive response from prospective spectators, both from within the country and abroad.

"So if I see this, it is quite good for the community because tickets have been sold out by 10,000 which are divided into two matches," said Bandung Regency Secretary Cakra Amiyama when met at the Stadium in Jalak Harupat, Bandung Regency, West Java.

Amiyama stated that the occupancy of hotels in Bandung Regency had been well filled, and several officials from various countries had been present since a month ago. The U-17 World Cup in Bandung Regency is considered a promotional opportunity for the local tourism industry and MSME products.

"I see that the occupancy of hotels in Bandung Regency has been well filled, such as the Sutan Raja Hotel and Grand Sunshine Hotel. Even some officials from several countries have been present since a month ago," he said.

The Regional Secretary also appreciated FIFA for the election of Bandung Regency as the host of the U-17 World Cup. He hopes that this event can become a promotional media for Indonesia, especially Bandung Regency.

"As the host, the Bandung Regency Government is very grateful to FIFA and hopefully this will become one of the media for promotions about Indonesia, especially Bandung Regency," said Ami.

Amiyama invites all levels of society to enliven the U-17 World Cup in Bandung Regency to run successfully in the eyes of the world. Si Jalak Harupat Stadium is home to teams in Group D (Argentina, Japan, Poland, Senegal) and Group F (Germany, Mexico, New Zealand, Venezuela).
