Semarang Jadi Venue Seri Pamungkas OnePrix 2023

JAKARTA - Answered already the location for the fifth series OnePrix 2023. The operator finally appointed Semarang as the final series venue.

This fifth series race will be held at the Mijen Circuit, this weekend. The Semarang election is based on the enthusiasm of automotive lovers in Central Java.

"Last season, for the first time we managed to hold OnePrix here. We considered the interest of automotive lovers in Central Java, especially Semarang, to be very high. If asked what is interesting, of course the competition and competition," said CEO of PT OMM Arlan Lukman Perkasa.

Until the last round, there was still fierce competition between racers to determine the title in the four main classes starting from the experts class, novice class, rookie class and startinner class.

"This is the final round. So, it is very likely that the participants will show their best performance. Moreover, until the final round, several names still have the opportunity to win." said Arlan, as reported by Antara.

Throughout the 2023 competition season, PT OMM as the organizer made a number of breakthroughs to enliven One Prix. One of them is the holding of tournaments outside Java that have never existed in previous seasons.

In the second round which took place in early June this year, OnePrix managed to hold a race at the Saubaru Circuit, Palangka Raya.

Then, this season, a Superpole session is also held which is the best moment for racers to add points. Of the three rounds that have been held, three racers from the ASR VMK team, namely Hafid Pratama (First Round), Muhammad Faerozi (second Round), and Adytya Fauzi ( Third Round), won the highest podium in the Superpole session. While the other belongs to Husni Zainul Fuadzy who successfully did it in the Fourth Round.

"This year we tried to get out of our comfort zone by holding the OnePrix event outside Java and it worked. The interest in Palangka Raya was extraordinary and we hope this will be our first step to exploring other cities, especially those outside Java," said Arlan.

From the non-competition aspect, a number of breakthroughs were also successfully carried out. One of them is to raise the concept of local culture on tubella girls in Palangka Raya and Tasikmalaya. The cultural theme is also one of the focuses of OnePrix content on social media which indirectly helps to raise local culture in every host city.

The organization of events in the regions also has other positive impacts, one of which is to encourage the national economy. Not infrequently in its implementation, OnePrix collaborates with the local community to participate. In addition, the economic turnover during the event is also stretched. At the same time, the Indonesian industrial sports industry is also growing and encouraging regional economic value growth.

"Then we also started synergizing with motorcycle communities because we felt that motorcycle racing events would not be separated from the community and lovers who supported them. For next year we are committed to presenting other innovations both in terms of competition and non-competition," said Arlan.
