Even Though He Just Had Surgery for an Injury, Bezzecchi is Determined to Fly to Indonesia So as Not to Miss the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP

JAKARTA - Mooney VR46 racer, Marco Bezzecchi, finally flew to Indonesia for the MotoGP race at the Mandalika Circuit. Previously, Bezzecchi's presence had caused speculation because of the racer's condition.

Bezzecchi previously suffered a broken collarbone while training at The Ranch, MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi's training complex last weekend. Because of this incident, Bezzecchi had to undergo surgery to recover quickly.

After the operation was successful, Bezzecchi should take time off. But the racer decided not to miss the opportunity to visit the Mandalika Circuit, Bezzecchi was determined to fly to Indonesia.

The certainty that Bezzecchi will still be present in Indonesia was shared directly by the Mooney VR46 team on their social media accounts. This statement is enough to explain that Bezzecchi will clearly be in Lombok.

"Someone missed their flight to Indonesia #GPIndonesia. @Marco12_B is going to Mandalika. Indonesia, we are coming," wrote a post from the Mooney VR46 Racing team's social media account as reported on the official MotoGP website on Thursday, October 12.

Even though it has been confirmed that he will be at the Mandalika Circuit, Bezzecchi is still not allowed to participate in the Indonesian GP. That's because Bezzecchi still has to wait for the MotoGP medical team's decision regarding his latest condition after surgery.

Bezzecchi clearly hopes that his condition at Mandalika will be fit so that he will be allowed to participate in the Indonesian MotoGP in order to gain points again.

This hope is related to the situation of Bezzecchi, who is still directly involved in the fight for the MotoGP premier class world title this season.

Currently Bezzecchi is in third place in the drivers' standings with a collection of 265 points. This result is 51 points away from second place occupied by Prima Pramac Racing racer, Jorge Martin.

Bezzecchi is only 54 points adrift of the current standings leader and reigning MotoGP premier class champion, Ducati Lenovo racer, Francesco Bagnaia. Bezzecchi certainly doesn't want to lose points, especially since this season's MotoGP only has six series remaining, including the race at the Mandalika Circuit.
