Will John Terry Become Steven Gerrard and Robbie Fowler's Rival in the Saudi Arabian League?

JAKARTA - Chelsea legend, John Terry, is rumored to be moving to the Saudi Arabian League. He is likely to be a rival of Steven Gerrard who currently coaches Al Ettifaq and Robbie Fowler who manages Al-Qadsiah.

Terry is reportedly close to joining Al Shabab to embark on a new chapter in his coaching career. He had already had talks and met a verbal agreement.

The former England captain will join the exodus of English Premier League legends who have moved to the Middle East.

Reportedly, Terry was approached by Al Shabab about a month ago. The 46-year-old man was offered a contract of at least two years and up to four years.

Terry is currently serving a one-year contract as a consultant at Chelsea's academy.

The Chelsea management have said they will not prevent the legend from leaving as a mark of respect for his service to them for nearly two decades. However, this is clearly a big blow for their young team because they lost a figure like Terry.

Terry is known as the most successful player in Chelsea history. During his time in the Blues uniform, he won five English Premier League titles, one Champions League trophy and five FA Cups.

After retiring, he was determined to move into the world of coaching and management. However, so far he has not had the opportunity to work with the senior team.

He has recently worked under Dean Smith at Leicester and Aston Villa but is keen to become a main coach.
