For The Sake Of Security, PSSI Refuses To Leak Plans To Arrival The Argentine National Team To Indonesia

PSSI will not divulge plans for the arrival of the Argentine national team to Indonesia in the context of FIFA Matchday, June 19. This is in accordance with the request of the La Albiceleste team.

PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir said, im Argentina requested that their arrival schedule not be disseminated. This request is a special request for Lionel Scaloni's team to get priority security.

"(The Argentine national team) came on that date, landed on that date, stayed at the hotel, had training on that date, everything was confidential. Because of security issues, they asked for priority scale," said Erick Thohir at a press conference in Jakarta, Monday, May 29.

In addition, Erick Thohir also emphasized that the Argentine national team would not hold a coaching clinic agenda, a gala dinner or meet fans while in Indonesia.

"That (about experience meeting players is) the question that comes into my WhatsApp every day," said Erick Thohir.

"But with great regret, indeed because they (the Argentine National Team) are world champions and many star players, so this restoration, please understand later. Indeed, we are really required to appreciate the football match itself, not the side," he continued.

The FIFA Matchday agenda is also on the agenda of La Albiceleste on the 2023 Argentine Asian Tour. Argentina national team coach Lionel Scaloni confirmed that he would bring Lionel Messi on his trip to Asia.

Before facing Indonesia, Argentina is also scheduled to face Australia in Beijing, China, on June 15.
