Three Hockey Athletes Who Win The SEA Games Bronze Medal Get Bonuses From The Biak Regency Government

JAKARTA - The Biak Numfor Regency Government, Papua, gave a bonus prize of IDR 45 million to three hockey athletes from Biak who won bronze medals for Indonesia at the 2023 Cambodia SEA Games.

"The three Oudoor hockey branch athletes are Richard Rumaropen, Ruth Bransik, and Paulina Ronsumbre each given a prize of Rp. 15 million/person given symbolically," said Biak Deputy Regent Numfor Calvin Mansnembra quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, May 27.

Calvin said, on behalf of the Regional Government and of course the people of Biak Numfor Regency, he congratulated this achievement.

"We are grateful for the achievements achieved, where our children were able to successfully bring home a bronze medal at the SEA Games in Cambodia," said the Deputy Regent.

He also expressed his pride to the athletes for their achievements, and suggested that they continue to run by honing their abilities.

"Hopefully this can also motivate other athletes to be more active in training so that in the future they can also join the hockey team in international events," said Calvin.

He said, the Regent congratulated and respected the three hockey athletes who had brought the good name of Biak Numfor Regency, which we love and are proud of together.
