GIIAS 2023 Will Again Take Place In Semarang, Followed By More Automotive Industry Players

JAKARTA- Semarang will host the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) The Series 2023 automotive exhibition, which will take place on October 15-18, at the Marina Convention Center.

GIIAS is the second year in Semarang, this time more participants from various brands and automotive industry lines took part, with a total of 30 well-known brands, including 14 motorized vehicle brands, including 10 passenger vehicle brands. Covering Chery, Daihatsu, Honda, Hyundai, KIA, Mazda, Mitsubishi Motors, Suzuki, Toyota, Wuling. As well as 4 brands from two-wheeled vehicles; Exotic, Pacific, Royal Enfield and Yamaha.

General Secretary of GAIKINDO, Kukuh Kumara revealed that Central Java is one of the main cities targets of the automotive industry, this is also illustrated from the enthusiasm of GIIAS Semarang 2023 participants.

"Central Java plays an important role in the national automotive industry, this can be seen from the participation of participants in GIIAS Semarang this year which has soared," said Kukuh, in an official statement received by VOI, Wednesday, October 11.

As is known, Central Java is one of the important provinces for the national automotive industry, it is recorded that Central Java is in the 5th position nationally with an achievement of 6.7% in the January-April 2023 period.

Through the implementation of GIIAS here, Gaikindo believes that it will be an impetus to achieve the target of the Indonesian automotive industry in Central Java province, as well as contribute to the achievements of the Indonesian automotive industry.

"Visitors have the opportunity to see, try directly and compare the latest products in a comfortable location," said Sri Vista Limbong, Project Director of Seven Events as the organizer of the GIIAS exhibition.

Furthermore, Vista said this event collaborated with various parties, one of which was with the Central Java BAPENDA which will also hold various special programs during the exhibition.

"Various special offers for visitors certainly should not be missed, besides the appearance of various performers on stage in outdoor areas should not be missed for all automotive lovers in Central Java," said Vista.

Not only that, various other educational and interesting programs such as education day, community gathering, influencer talk show, interactive quiz and of course test drive and test ride, will take place during the GIIAS Semarang 2023 exhibition.

Pre-sale tickets can be ordered starting on October 10-12, through the Auto360 application. On this pre-sale occasion, the entrance ticket price on weekdays (Wednesday-Friday) is IDR 10 thousand and in weekends (Saturday-Sunday) is IDR 15 thousand rupiah. Meanwhile, for the 13-16 October 2023 ladder, 15,000 rupiah for weekdays (Wednesday-Friday) and 25,000 rupiah for weekends (Saturday-Sunday). In addition, visitors can buy tickets onsite at the exhibition area during a visit with a holiday price (Wednesday-Friday) of 20,000 rupiah and 30,000 rupiahs (Saturday-Sunday) weekends.

The exhibition will open starting at 11.00 p.m. 21.00 p.m. local time for weekdays (Wednesday-Friday) and 10.00 p.m. 21.00 p.m. for weekends (Saturday-Sunday).
