This Toyota Mungil Car Is Present In The EMove Application Service, But Not For Rental

JAKARTA - In order to make it easier for environmentally friendly mobility to the public, Adhya Group, launched a software-based electric vehicle rental (EV) application, namely EMove.

This application service is expected to facilitate the mobility of Indonesian people in carrying out their daily activities. Through EMove, people can easily rent electric vehicles with the various conveniences offered.

In this service, the model currently provided is Wuling Air ev which can accompany users in carrying out activities in urban areas. Although there is only one model, the company ensures that it will present Neta V and Hyundai Ioniq 5 as rental vehicles. However, it is likely that the model will increase.

Hari Dinata, as VP Retail & Ecommerce Adhya Group, said that his party is open to EV models from various brands as rental vehicles.

"We are very open. Every time there is an automotive exhibition, we try to explore the possibility of presenting more electric vehicles that we can try to rent at this EMOVE," Dinata told VOI, Tuesday, October 10.

Furthermore, he added that his party had included another model as a rental vehicle on their official website, namely Toyota C+Pod. But at this time, the vehicle is not yet available for rental.

"On our website, there is actually a list of rental prices for Toyota C+Pod. It's just that, the size is small and this model is used for internal purposes. So, we haven't used this model to rent out," added Dinata.

Toyota C+Pod is an ultra compact EV presented with only two seats. This car has a length of 2,490 mm, a width of 1,290 mm, a height of 1,550 mm, and a wheelbase of 1,780 mm, making it the smallest car ever made by Toyota.

This car uses a 9 kWh capacity battery that allows C+Pod to go up to 150 km in the WLTC cycle. On the official EMove website, this car has a rental price of IDR 45,000 per hour and IDR 450,000 per day.

This will smooth Adhya Group's steps in providing 500 units of environmentally friendly vehicles, such as electric cars, electric motorcycles, electric bicycles, and electric vehicle charging stations (SPKLU) until 2025. This service is currently available in the first phase in the Jakarta, Bali, and Bandung areas.
