This 675LT Spider McLaren Owned By Refales Legend Sebastien Loeb Will Be Auctioned

JAKARTA - Sebastien Loeb, the former most successful racer in the history of the World Rally Championship (WRC) by winning 9 consecutive world titles will auction off his custom McLaren 675LT Spider in 2017 through RM Sotheby's auction house and is scheduled to be sold on September 15.

McLaren 675LT is an impressive car, thanks to a high-power twin-turbo V8 engine, active-aero technology, and technology taken from Formula 1. The model is also updated with a larger carbon-keramic brake disk, light alloy rims with 10 more karaoke, and more carbon fiber usage.

Typical racing car but can be used on this highway based on the same platform as 650S, this model is inspired by McLaren F1 GTR, whose long body style has long been an inspiration for automotive fans.

Thanks to these updates, and the already lightweight carbon composite framework, McLaren 675LT Coupe has a dry weight of 1,230 kg, while Spider has an additional 40 kg.

Despite the heavy increase, reported by Carscoops, September 8, 675LT Spider can reach speeds of 0-100 km/hour in just 2.9 seconds, and continues to accelerate up to 200 km/hour in just 8.1 seconds. At full speed, this car can reach a maximum speed of 326 km/hour.

To note, there are only 500 McLaren 675LT Spider units produced, and one of them has the Chicane Gray color to be auctioned off.
